Eugenia Burgoyne

Biography

Eugenia Burgoyne was born in Valencia. She studied singing at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Vienna. Wins first prize at the International Singing Competition Feruccio Tagliavini, Third Prize in the International Singing Competition Antonin Dvorak and she is selected in the Accademia del Teatro alla Scala in Milan.

She has participated in productions of Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro, Rheinsberg Operafestival of Berlin, Teatro Petruzzelli of Bari, Festival Opera-Rara Krakow, Teatro Juárez in Guanajuato (México), Teatro Fraschini in Pavia, Teatro de la Maestranza in Seville, Teatro Segura in Lima ... where she has sung, among others, the roles of Rosina (Il Barbiere di Siviglia by Rossini), Musetta (La Boheme by Puccini), Soeur Constance (Dialogues des Carmélites by Puolenc), Despina ( Cosi fa tutte by Mozart), Cherubino ( Le Nozze di Figaro by Mozart), Ramiro (Motezuma by Vivaldi), Susanna (Nina, ossia la pazza per amore by Paisiello), Adina (L’Elisir d’amore by Donizetti), Sandrina (La Cecchina by Piccinni)…
